WORLD SCHIZOPHRENIA DAY- DOCUMENTARY SCREENING: 24 MAY 2022 – DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES (BA)

The Department of Humanities, Psychology (UG) screened a documentary on Schizophrenia in accordance to World Schizophrenia Day which is celebrate on 24 th May, 2022. The documentary is named “A True Madness Schizophrenia Documentary Real Patients”. The documentary was screened to both BA and BSc CJP students of the final years. The documentary was based on real life patients, psychiatrists and their stories.

The students were asked to do a review on the documentary screened. The documentary mainly focused on the major characteristics that these individuals showcase, their behavioural patterns, the major symptoms and causes especially when it comes to the chemical combinations. Throughout the documentary, their major focus was on patients who were under consultation and treatment under different psychiatrists. The doctors had various diagnostic viewpoints whereas the patients had their own version of looking in to the problem.
