Adventure Trekking Camp: NSS – Aug 3, 2019

The National Social Service (NSS) of the College organised an Adventure Trekking Camp on Aug 3, 2019 to Revanna Siddeshwara Betta, Ramanagara District. Around 100 NSS volunteers participated in this program under the able leadership of Prof Karibasavanagowda, NSS Program Officer.

The team left the college by 7 am. The climb of the mountain started around 10:30 am and they reached the peak by 12 pm. At the peak, meditation was conducted followed by many volunteers who came forward and exhibited their talents.

This was followed by the visit to the Janapada Loka. This is a museum depicting the Kannada tradition, culture and lifestyle of the ancient people. The learning of many Kannada folk songs as well knowing about various ancient cultural practices was a great learning experience for the NSS Volunteers.
