A SPECIAL CELEBRATION FOR “HARVEST FESTIVAL & ONAM”: SEPTEMBER 8, 2022 - ROTARACT CLUB IN ASSOCIATION WITH DFFA

On September 8 th the Rotaract Club in association with DFFA decided to organise an event recognising the “Farmers of India”. September 8 th was also “Thiruvonam” a major annual event for Keralites. It is the official festival of the State and includes a spectrum of cultural events.

A dance sequence was organised jointly by the members of the Rotaract Club and Farmers Club. 20 students participated in the dance and since the event was held in the quadrangle of the college, all the faculties and students attended it. The dance included songs praising the farmers of this country. The event organised in the College had three themes.

1.Cultural diversity
2. Harvesting festivals celebrated all of over India
3.The importance of the farmers who provides us with the food.
