PUNEETH SAGAR ABHIYAAN ACTIVITY TO CLEAN YELE MALAPPA SHETTY LAKE: 25 SEPTEMBER 2022 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

The cadets of St. Francis de Sales College, Hebbagodi took part in a group activity of Puneeth Sagar Abhiyaan Activity, which was conducted by our 1 KAR BN NCC on 25 th September 2022. The activity was to clean water bodies and bring awareness to the people. SD/SW cadets from our Battalion actively participated and almost 70 cadets gave their active participation in cleaning the Lake. Thus, Yele Malappa Shetty Lake was cleaned. Overall, Puneeth Sagar Abhiyaan was a great success.

The cadets thanked Group Commander Col Basant Singh, Commanding Officer Col B S Dhami, Adam Officer Lt Col Ravindra Singh, Principal Rev. Dr. Roy, Vice-Principal Rev. Fr. Jijo Jose, Subedar Major Vinay Thakur, 1 KAR BN NCC and our ANO Capt. Sampath Kumar R for giving us such an event to motivate and encourage them to raise environmental responsibility and awareness.
