WEBINAR ON INTERPERSONAL SKILLS “PATHWAY TO SUCCESS”: MAY 29, 2021 – PLACEMENT CELL

The Placement Cell of St Francis de Sales College in association with the Department Of PG conducted a Pre Placement Training Session for the Final Year students of PG. The activity was a career guidance programme on Interpersonal skills: Pathway to Success which was held on May 29, 2021. The programmes focused on personal growth, interpersonal effectiveness and skills that are vital for placement and career growth.

The main objective of the Placement cell is to provide personal and career related support to the students with special emphasis on training the students on employability skills and to provide placement in various Industries/Organizations by arranging campus recruitment drives. The session emphasised on Importance of interpersonal skills in the workplace Interpersonal communication and related skills are considered vital for productive workplaces which leads the organizations towards success.

Aside from workplace relationships and association, excellent interpersonal traits are much helpful to improve work performance. Further, effective team management can be done quickly using optimistic interpersonal skills. The benefits of career planning were explained to students. Over 100 students attended the session. The session received extremely positive feedback and the College intends to provide such opportunities to students in the future as well.
