VISIT TO AN ORPHANAGE: 20 TH OF SEPTEMBER 2022 – NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

On 20 th of September 2022, a program was organized by the NCC unit of SFS College to visit an orphanage and spend some time encouraging the children. The main objective of this program was to inform the children about discipline, personal hygiene and cleanliness. Around 25-30 children are learning various talents in this orphanage along with education.

Our ANO Captain Sampath Kumar R spoke about the importance of NCC in the children and encouraged them by showing them motivational videos about patriotism, motivated them that they should be brave soldiers who protects the mother land. They distributed books, pens and crayons to the children in the orphanage. There was no end to their happiness when they received the kit. NCC cadets gave a demo of the drill and then asked the students to join them. Children were also taught the basic drill and they performed as per instruction given by NCC cadets. Afternoon lunch was arranged for everyone by the orphanage. In the presence of our ANO Captain Sampath Kumar.R. The program was a resounding success. We would like to thank our CO Col. B.S Dhami, AO Lt Col Ravindra Singh and ANO Captain Sampath Kumar R for giving us opportunity to visit the kids, show them love, care, teach them few things and also to motivate them to join NCC.
