ORIENTATION ON ICT SESSION: 30 OCTOBER 2022 – DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE

Orientation on ICT session was conducted for the students of B.Sc(MEC)I semester on October 30th 2022 during the IV hour. Session was conducted by Prof. Jenifer Sujitha G and it was an activityconducted by the Electronics IC club and ICT. The session was conducted in order to createawareness among the students about the usage of ICT tool LINWAYS an ERP used in ourcollege.

This activity was undertaken to develop a comprehensive information andcommunication technologies strategy. The twin foci of all activities related to devising acomprehensive and coherent response to the broad issue of harnessing the potential of ICT forpromoting development are (a) the coherence of the policy advice provide in setting comprehensive,forward-looking strategies to harness ICT for economic and social progress; and (b) theunprecedented opportunities that ICT offers for system-wide knowledge management and knowledgecreation. The strategy will be pursued as an essential component if the overall effort to enhance costeffectiveness, strengthen system-wide knowledge management and enhance the capacity to supportcountries in using ICTs for the achievement of the MD.
