Session on Self Defence - NCC Cadets: Feb 10, 2019

On Sunday 10th of February, 2019, 108 cadets with ANO Lt. Sampath Kumar R conducted self defence program at SFS College campus. The program started at 7:00 am with a theory class about self defence followed by martial arts training by Master Chiranjeevi, a black belt holder in Kung Fu and a self-styled form of martial arts called ‘art of fighting.’ He was accompanied by Rajkumar, Vimal and Vijay, his teammates. They taught different types – with practical demos - of defence and attacking movements. These included the basics of protecting self like strikes, kicks, punches, blocks and escape. The Cadets were given an adequate introduction to the basics of martial arts.
