Mathematics Quiz - Dept of Bsc: February 15, 2020

Maths πrates - the Department Association for Mathematics conducted a Mathematics Quiz on February 15, 2020 for the 1st and 2nd Year Students of BSc. Around 25 students participated in the activity which consisted of 2 rounds. Ashok Kumar, Hitesh and Sandrose Alexander from II Sem B.Sc (MEC) secured the first place. Asish Robin Bara, Kunal and Dundaiah of II Sem B.Sc (PCM) secured the second place. The Students participated with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. It was an activity that combined learning with fun. The event was coordinated by the 2nd Year Students under the guidance of Prof. Rashmi and Prof. Roshini. The quiz was conducted in order to develop critical thinking among students, to develop the skill of answering precisely, to make the students think and answer quickly, to get equipped with useful and important facts and to have an awareness about the contribution of mathematics and the latest discoveries.
