INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO COIMBATORE AND OOTY : 22 MARCH 2022 TO 24 MARCH 2022 –DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

The Department of Commerce organized a industrial visit for 3 days to Coimbatore and Ooty. Ooty is one of the best towns for industrial visit. The Ooty offers loads of helpful sights for modern visit. It is famous for its tea plantations. Connoisseurs will find plenty to choose from: dust and leaf; black, green, black and white varieties; and flavours such as masala, jasmine, cardamom and even chocolate.

Industrial visiti is an opportunity for the students pursuing professional education to gain in hand on experience of how industry operations are execututed and working environment. This bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a real life environment. During the industial visit students can interact with the experts who are part of the company.

The students had an opportunity to straightforwardly interface and study the generation of tea, and the various types of it. After that they visited chocolate making industry, timber industry and vote making industry. They spent time in Botanical Garden and Isha foundation. Students enjoyed the ambiance of international yoga center and even few students benefited by learning how to meditate and concentrate on day-to-day life.
