OUTREACH ACTIVITY - BRINGING SOCIAL BELONGINGNESS AMONG ALL: 30 JULY 2022 - DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

The Department of Commerce on 30 th July 2022 visited a girl's orphanage by name "JEEVANDEEP MAKKALA KENDRA" which is in Chikkabellanduru, Bangalore. Total 30 students from the Department of Commerce along with 2 Faculty members visited the place. The main aim of the visit is to provide an exposure to the students about practical social responsibility and have oneness feeling as brothers & sisters in the society.

Jeevan Deep Makkala Kendra is a Home for Children, managed and run by the Society of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, popularly known as the Hospitallers. Sr. Maria Joseph - Head of the Management, Sr. Danis Mary - Director and Sr. Pushpa who is the assistant manager of that orphanage accompanied us throughout the day.

The students donated amount which was contributed by the SFS students and staff along with things like books, clothes, groceries etc... The day ended with a lot of gratitude for spending valuable time and we wished them success for their future endeavors.
