ORIENTATION SESSION ON “WHAT IF I GET A CHANCE TO EARN 8 TIMES SALARY:16 NOVEMBER 2021 - DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE FINANCE ACADEMY (F.A)

Department of Commerce in collaboration with The Finance Academy (F.A) organised ‘Orientation Session on “What if I get a chance earn 8 times salary” on 16 th November 2021 for first year commerce students. The objective of the session was to introduce the courses and opportunities available in the field of CA and CS to build the career of the students.

RS Raghavan., ACA., DISA was the resource person for the session. An All India Rank Holder, Sri. Raghavan comes with a rich industrial experience of more than 22 years at the top spot. From Accounting, to SAP Implementation to tax planning to payroll to financing to working capital management to strategies, he has handled a wide range of avenues available for the finance professional in an industry. At F.A, he is the Mentor and Chief Faculty and he teaches Accounting and Direct Taxes at all levels – Foundation, Intermediate & Final. He oriented the students on CA, CS, CIMA CMA and started to explain the various career options in commerce like Product Manager, Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Digital Marketing Manager, Event Manager and Hotel Manager. He concluded the session by saying how B.com with CA/CS/ CIMA/CMA is different from just a B.com degree.
