“STUDENT NATIONAL SEMINAR - MIMAMSA’ 22 - DATA THE CATALYST- SHAPING THE
FUTURE OF TECHNOLOGY”: 24 & 25 TH JUNE 2022 - DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER
APPLICATIONS
The Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with the research cell hosted a
two-day student’s national seminar MIMAMSA 2022’ with the theme “Data the Catalyst
Shaping the future of technology” on 24 th June 2022. All of the institution's departments
gathered in the auditorium for a joint inaugural to start the session.
The session's moderator, Prof. Sabarmathi G, Assistant Professor in Computer Applications,
Christ Academy institute of advanced studies, Bengaluru, gave the students an overview of
numerous data-related topics, their significance, and potential future ramifications. 38
participants presented their papers on the chosen theme on Day 1 of the conference. There
were 178 participants present.
The Day 2 online session of Student national seminar in the online platform Gmeet, Dr.
Hubert Shanthan, an Assistant professor of Computer science at Kristu Jayanti College in
Bengaluru, served as the session chair. 40 participants joined the session from various
institutions, including the Acharya Institute of Technology, the Christ Academy Institute for
Advanced Studies, and the Jairam’s College of Arts and Science in Tamil Nadu St Benedict
academy Maharashtra. Tumkur University, Vivekananda Institute of Management, Oxford
College of Science, NGM Arts College, Pollachi, Tamil Nādu, Hindustan College Of Arts and
Science, Tamilnadu, T John College, Bangalore, Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya Deolali-
Pravara, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, are among the institutions that participated online.
After attending this seminar, the participants became more professionally competent. They
got familiar understood the importance of data in shaping the future of technology. Finally,
they acquired a quality orientation in the understanding the research writing skills and
processes involved.
