DISCOURSE ON IT TRENDS & CAREER GROWTH POST COVID 19: 13 OCTOBER 2021 -
DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
Department of Computer Applications as a part of Cyber Spirits Association organised a Discourse on
“IT TRENDS & CAREER GROWTH POST COVID-19” for all the Freshers of BCA, B.Sc. (MEC & CJP). As
the career trends in a post COVID-19 era are bound to change, it would be wise to comprehend the
reality and to prepare the students for tomorrow was the real motto of the session.
Mrs Manjula Kumar Director & Consultant Peritia Services having 20 years of experience in heading
corporate upskilling training programs, Government skilling initiatives, apprenticeship promotion
and CSR projects. Implemented sustainable livelihood special projects whilst simultaneously
handling the academics, quality, key account management, operations and recruitment for the
Learning services division.
The session enlightened students on the importance of Cloud computing, Edge computing the
paradigm shift towards soft computing & Block Chain. She concluded the discourse on a positive
note that the COVID-19 pandemic has encouraged us to acknowledge the sensitive nature of our
career decisions, and how unprecedented events may lead to a complete turnaround. It is time for
us to be pragmatic in our career choices, and our decisions should run in. Guest of the day was
