WORKSHOP ON CYBERSECURITY JYOTI SUMMIT 2022: 19 NOVEMBER 2022 - DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

The Department of Computer Applications of Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous-Post Graduate Centre conducted workshop on cybersecurity as a part of the Jyoti Summit on the 19 th of November 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4 pm under the guidance of faculty coordinator Ms. Shilpa, Professor Jyoti Nivas College. 17 students from SFS College took part in this workshop.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Pushpa. The workshop was conducted in two phases. The resource person gave a quick introduction to hacking in the first session, discussing the necessity for ethical hackers in the modern world as well as the fundamentals of networking to provide the students a thorough understanding of how the internet functions. Additionally, the speaker talked about cybersecurity algorithms like AES, RSA, etc. The participants were also educated about the safety and security precautions to take while using the internet and different applications. The participants had the chance to put the concepts they had learned in the first session, which was a hands-on workshop, into practice in the second session.
