CREATIVE STORY TELLING: 7 JUNE 2021 – DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES

An experimental learning activity was conducted for the final year BBA Students by the Department of Business Studies on June 7, 2021. The activity was conducted through online platform for the VI Sem students both A and B section. The event coordinator Prof. Devichandrika started the session with explaining the purpose and importance of the activity as a small introduction.

An explanation was given about the need and importance of creative skill in the current scenario and also how it is going to be a notable skill in future. The content also highlighted how the thought process will help to build creative skill. The objective of the activity is to enable the students to gain creative skill and make them to understand that everyone can be creative in their own way.

A picture was shared with the students and was allotted with a time of 10 minutes for thinking process. It was informed to them that after analysing the picture they have to come up with their own creative stories. Each student was then asked to present their creative story. Using their imagination and creative skill, they explained the same image with different versions of stories. The activity made the students to understand how perception plays an important role in being creative and it differs from person to person.
