BUDDING ACHIEVERS: 16 SEPTEMBER 2021: DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Budding Achievers activity was conducted for the I semester BBA students by the Department of Business Administration on September 16, 2021. The session was conducted by Alumni - Shashi Kumar M. The main objective of this session was to motivate the students to upgrade their skills and how they can utilise the various opportunities provided by college.

A brief explanation was given about the need and importance of developing their skills and their passion with the help of available resources or opportunities provided by college. Skills upgrade means new skills and knowledge development necessary to enhance productivity, improve performance so as to cope with the present competitive scenarios. He steered the students to identify their hobbies or interest, directing them towards passionate goals and how to achieve them. He also emphasized how mentorship can be utilised to their advantage. SMART goal concepts were discussed and he projected how the corporates are linking profession with the available skills.

The activity resulted in a motivational speech, as it emphasized on various platforms or events in college and how it can be used to upgrade the skill. Motivational speeches like these pumps the students when they need it most. The session on skills upgrade taught about new skills and knowledge development necessary to enhance productivity and improve performance.
