BBA group activities: July-September, 2019

Multiple activities were conducted on every Monday during 2nd hour in 3rd semester BBA A section which encouraged and inculcated more knowledge on various levels. Groups of 7 teams consisting of 6 members were divided on the basis of roll numbers. Each week, the activity hour was conducted and coordinated successfully by the assigned teams.

Activities including debate, quiz on general as well as current affairs topics were the most successful events. A successful coordination and teamwork was visible in all the activities initiated and the participation was making it difficult for the conducting the coordinators to decide upon on final winners most of the times especially in case of quiz which dealt with current affairs.

Along with the brainstorming sessions, fun filled games were also added with the activity hour to make the session a platform to create a wrapper with the mentor and mentees as well as between the students themselves. Creative and innovative games were also made into a reality through the activity hour which could provide a platform to all the students to showcase their ideas, views and thoughts on various issues including their career as well as the latest trends in their interest areas.

Debate competition:
The event was conducted on 2nd September, 12th August, and 29th July. The topics were as follows:
29/07/2019 - Preference of millennials: love marriage or arrange marriage
12/08/2019 - Role of transgender community in modern India
02/09/2019 - Role of ethics in Business

Current affairs:
All the students are part of a group that deals and presents weekly news which consists of International, national, regional, technology, sports and business news. Individual participation is ensured by making the roll number based teams of 7 students. The total team count is 6 and it could help the students to gain access to current affairs at a wider level. The activities were coordinated under the leadership of Prof Alan George.
