ALUMNI COLLABORATION ACTIVITY – “PAVING PATH TO SUCCESS": 10 MAY 2022 - DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

The Department of Computer Applications hosted an Alumni Collaboration activity with Alumni Shashank BR (Batch 2017-2020) presenting his experience "Paving path to success" on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022. Prof. Sailaja M, the Department Head, greeted all students and faculty members to the Alumni Collaboration activity and informed them of alumni Shashank BR's proud achievements as a senior process executive at Infosys Bengaluru, as well as his recent achievements as the author of two books, "The Middle Page" and "In Search of Life."

The main objective of alumni collaboration activity is to promote interaction among the students and exchange ideas also to promote deeper engagement of alumni to associate with the institution. Young alumni and students can benefit in their professional lives by learning from senior alumni, getting to hear about interesting job opportunities, and so on. This event was targeted for the 4 th and 6 th semester students of BCA.

Shashank discussed about his experiences as an author and his recent book launch experience for "In Search of Life." and he expressed his delight in handing over copies to institution heads. The Principal Rev Fr. Dr. Roy and Vice Principal Rev Fr. Jijo Jose praised and thanked him for his book "In Search of Life," as well as appreciating how the institution has established a road for learning life lessons "Life Lessons from SFS."

Students shared a positive feedback and fruitful experience of the alma mater connect. They questioned about the perks of being a backbencher, as well as tips and advice for his juniors on how to crack interviews.
