INGUARATION OF PG ACADEMIC YEAR 2022 -23 (VIHAAN-2023): 6 FEBRUARY 2023 - POSTGRADUATE CENTER

New academic year brings new hopes, new challenges as the new batch of post-graduate students start their academic year. Before the students enter into the academics, St. Francis De Sales College conducted VIHAAN, the Inauguration of the PG courses for the Academic Year 2022-23 on 6 February 2023 in Closed Auditorium. It is also about giving a warm welcome for the Fresher and a new experience for freshers who are starting their academic courses.

The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. V G Kiran Kumar, the Chairman of International Affairs Committee, Federation of Karnataka Chambers of commerce and Industry. He is the recipient of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Peace Award for his exceptional contribution dedication and social services from the International Peace University. He has been honored with the All-India Best Navy cadet 1983 and in 1985 which is a National Record. Along with the Chief Guest, Principal Rev. Fr. Dr. Roy P K, Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Jijo Jose and Academic Coordinator Dr. Kanchana Goudar arrived into the Auditorium.

The chief Guest addressed the gathering and congratulated the new student council members and advised them to be impartial, honest in leadership, unity, discipline and to uphold morality. Rev. Fr. Dr. Roy encouraged and motivated the young minds and new student council committee. After the formal function, students were entertained by their seniors with various cultural activities. It was day for entertainment for all the students and teachers.
