TRANSCEND - NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE INTERCOLLEGIATE EVENT: 26 TH AND 27 TH AUGUST 2021 – DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES

A National Level Online Intercollegiate Event - Transcend was conducted for students from numerous colleges across the State. This was initiated by the Department of Business Administration on 26 th and 27 th August 2021. The objective of this activity was to enable the students to use their creativity and put in some innovation in preparing a B-Plan, while the second part was to narrate a story based on images.

The event had 2 competitions – Propositum and Figment of Imagination. Propositum is an event where in students were given a standard B-plan to the students, and students made use of it and have framed the Business plan. The second event was Figment of Imagination - story-telling. The image was displayed to all the students through G-meet and the was to narrate the story from their perspective. They focused on their perceptions and figment of imagination to frame a story.

Based on the theme, presentation, creativity, innovation and evocative ideas, winners were chosen by judges. Students were able to test their knowledge relevance towards creating a B-plan. 40 students participated in this event. In all, the event was good exercise for the upcoming business enthusiasts.
