Student National Seminar on Contemporary Issues and Opportunities in Management: 9 th - 10 th of June 2021 - Department of Business Administration in collaboration with Research & IP Cell

Two-day national seminar for UG and PG students is conducted every year with an intention to give students an exposure to research publication and knowledge transfer. The Department of Business Administration in collaboration research & IP cell organised Student National Seminar on the theme Contemporary Issues and Opportunities in Management on 9 th and 10 th of June 2021. The keynote speakers for the National Seminars were - Dr Thanapackiam, Asst. Professor of the PG Department, SFS Degree College and Dr Prabha, Professor Research head, Department of Management studies, St Francis Business School, Bengaluru.

Technical session 1: Dr Thanapackiam, the key note speaker gave technical talk on the current issues and opportunities in India especially during COVID 19. This was followed by student presentations with a total of 12 presentations and 90 participants from different colleges both state and national level.

Technical session 2: The technical speaker Dr Prabha focused on how to overcome the issues faced in the current scenario. Day 2 saw a total of 15 presentations and 85 participants.

Best Paper Presenter: Priya N and Josebin Sabu from St Francis de Sales College

The seminar exhibited the energetic participation and innovative ideas which were put on display by the young minds. The students actively participated and executed their roles and responsibilities with perfection as paper presenter and writers. In total 30 students wrote papers on various sub- themes of the seminar and 27 students presented the papers. The seminar was a great success with the effort and coordination rendered by the staff and students of Department of Business Administration.
