65 th Kannada Rajyotsava celebrated – Nov 01, 2020

The 65 th Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great fervour on November 01, 2020 at 9: 30 am. The program began with the unfurling of the State Flag by Rev. Dr Roy, the Principal. This was followed by the singing of the “Naadageethe” (the state song: “Victory to you Mother Karnataka, The Daughter of Mother India” composed by Kuvempu).

The Principal in his address appreciated the celebration of this event and extended his cordial wishes to everyone. Fr Jijo, the Vice Principal invited everyone to appreciate all cultures and languages and to make efforts to learn Kannada, the local language. Dr Shantaraju and Prof Kumara, Dept of Kannada also exhorted the students to nurture pride in the culture of the land and to be promoters of unity and harmony.

The program was attended by the NCC Cadets and KCD Wardens. Special Congratulations to Dr Shantaraju, coordinator of the Department of Kannada for organising the programme and Prof Kumara for compering the event.
