RDC Contingent Felicitation at Vidhana Soudha - 17th February, 2021 - NCC

The Republic Day Contingent felicitation ceremony was held at Vidhana Soudha on 6th February, 2021, to extend a warm welcome to the National Level RDC achievers of NCC Directorate Karnataka and Goa.

The occasion was dignified by the presence of The Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri B S Yediyurappa; Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Shri Suresh Kumar, other Ministers, Group commanders, Commanding Officers, Adam officers, Associate NCC Officers, PI staffs, other officers, civilians and cadets from various battalions and groups.

The ceremony was made grand with various cultural programmes performed by cadets from various battalions among which nine of our cadets, under the guidance of our ANO Lt. Sampath Kumar R, got an opportunity to perform a famous folk dance of Karnataka ‘Kamsale’. The Education Minister, in his address, shared his experience of being an ex NCC cadet and encouraged students to be a part of NCC and motivated the present cadets to put on their hard work and dedication towards it to achieve greater heights in their lives.

As a mark of appreciation to the RDC achievers, the Education Minister, on behalf of the Honourable Chief Minister, announced a cash price of Rs. 10,000 and an additional Rs. 5,000 for the cadets who received medals in various competitions at National Level
