RANGERS & ROVERS STATE LEVEL NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMP: 15 TH – 18 TH DECEMBER
2021 - RANGERS & ROVERS
The State Level National Integration Camp was conducted at Kolar, Karnataka where in 2
Rovers and 2 Rangers from SFS College were part among 150 participants. It was held from 15 th
December 2021 to 18 th December 2021. The integration camp was organized with an objective to
build unity and peace with spiritual harmony between different districts and cultures of
Karnataka.
The program enables the rovers and rangers to share their culture, languages, traditions and
experiences. The camp had participants from 20 districts of Karnataka. The integration journey
of the camp began with the visit to historical monuments and temples at Kolar which included
the famous Somanathapura temple, Kotilingeshwara, Khelamma temple, Havalibetta, Bangara
tirupati and Ramalingeshwara temple. Further, the participants were engaged by various
activities such as quiz competition, cooking without fire where they were given the task to
represent the famous dish of their respective district, essay writing, model making also an
awareness rally in the local areas regarding the importance of vaccination followed by trekking
to Antargange wherein a swacch bharath activity was conducted. Various recreational activities
such as group song, group dance, fashion show and camp fire. The camp concluded with
Sarvadharma Prartana and certificate distributions.
Overall, the camp provided any excellent opportunity to the rovers and rangers to interact with
different people, learn different cultures, habits etc. A brief knowledge about the historical
heritage of the state were also imparted to them.
