Infinity Guest Lecture Series- Research in the field of Mathematics- Department of Mathematics, Post graduate Centre- January 7, 2021.

Ad-Infinitum Club, Department of Mathematics, Postgraduate Centre in association with Research & IP Cell organized a guest lecture on “Research in the Field of Mathematics” on 7 th January 2021. Prof. U. Mohan Chand, Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, St.Ann's College of Engineering & Technology, Chirala, Andhra Pradesh was the resource person of the event. The session was hosted on the online platform, Zoom and 45 students participated in the event. The lecture focused on topics like current research topics in Mathematics, writing a research proposal, the research objectives, factors that motivate the research and the formulation of research aims and objectives. Conceptualization of a mathematics research paper and ways to narrow down the formulation of research aims and objectives so that the level of the focus of the study could be increased was outlined in the session.

The session oriented the students towards understanding the importance of research and strategies used for effective research in the field of Mathematics.
