KAHOOT – ONLINE QUIZ COMPETITION ON NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY – 10 DECEMBER 2021 – DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES

An online quiz game – KAHOOT was conducted by the Department of Humanities on Thursday, the 10 th of December 2021. This activity was organised for all the BA and the BSc CJP students and the topic was on National Education Day which falls on the 11 th November. The objective of this Quiz was to spread awareness about education. This day is remembered as the birth anniversary of independent India’s first education minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He played a significant role in shaping the education system of the country.

At first, the students were asked to watch a video by Malala Yousafzai followed by the game- KAHOOT. The game was proposed by Prof. Kusuma R, Head of Department of Humanities. The students gained a lot information regarding the National Education Policies and the aspects related to it. The major aim of this game was to create a constructive erudition for the students. The overall responses showed the students enthusiasm and participation in taking up the activity. Through this activity, students and teachers had lot of interaction which made it more exciting and entertaining.
