INDUSTRY COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITY - PREPARING FOR INDUSTRY NEEDS: 17 AUGUST 2022 - DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE (BSC)

The Department of Science, St Francis de Sales College organized Industry Collaborative Activity on Preparing for Industry needs on 17 th August 2022. The objective was to prepare the students to fill the gap between their theoretical knowledge and the industry needs.

The resource Person for the session was Mr. Srinivasa Rao B, Technical Director, Chip In-Tech Embedded Solutions Pvt. Ltd. An embedded system is a microprocessor-based computer hardware system with software that is designed to perform a dedicated function, either as an independent system or as a part of a large system. At the core is an integrated circuit designed to carry out computation for real-time operations. The resource person shared his experience in the industry field as an employee and then as an employer. He addressed the students on the required technical skills to become an embedded engineer.

. Mr. Rao guided the students to learn some of these skills by themselves so that when they approach the industry it will be easy and fast for the students to get involved in the industry projects. With this session, the students were able to identify the gap between the curriculum of microcontroller and the industry of embedded system. It helps the students to learn required technical skills.
