FDP: Effective use of ICT in Online Teaching - 26th November to 1st December 2020 - IQAC

A Faculty development programme on ‘EFFECTIVE USE OF ICT IN ONLINE TEACHING’ was organised by the IQAC of St. Francis de Sales college for all the department faculty members from 26th November to 1st December 2020. The objective of this programme was to enable the faculty members to gain an understanding of using Campus Technology , an initiative to help the staff members to effectively apply the online practises through this tool. The five day session was handled by Ms. Pooja Vasudev and the necessary modules that included the method to update the personal details , conduct online classes , marking attendance of students , procedure to create session plan and how the details of each subject course plan needs to be updated systematically; process to be used for creating online exams and the uploading of question papers, evaluation and assigning marks and the steps for creating assignment work.

An interaction with the resource person enabled the staff to have their queries clarified. Ms. Pooja Vasudev shared the concepts and the information in a very logical and systematic manner which gave a clear and a better understanding of the campus technology tool. Rev Dr. Roy, Principal, emphasised on the importance of using the online tool. He also shared his views on how faculty members should use this resource in the best manner possible. It was a very useful session for the faculty.
