INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO HAL HERITAGE CENTRE AND AEROSPACE MUSEUM: 13 DECEMBER
2021 - DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION – AVIATION
The Department of Business Administration – BBA Aviation organised an Industrial Visit to HAL
Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum, Police Station, Near HAL, HAL Old Airport Rd, Marathahalli,
Bengaluru, Karnataka on 13th December 2021. This industrial interface session was conducted for
the I and II-year BBA Aviation students. It was intended to empower the students in understanding
the heritage and the pride which India holds till date along with the magnificent achievements of
Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Armed Forces in the field of Aerospace which we proudly
call as Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL)
The objectives of this Industrial visit were to make the students understand the Aviation sector in
terms of enhancing their aviation and aerospace knowledge relevant to their subjects and to
acquaint them self with respect to quality and safety aspects used in Aviation. To understand the
various types of Aircraft Models and their special features, origin and development in the Aviation
sector during the last few decades and to find out various operations and functioning of the Aircraft
engines, turbine and other mechanical equipment involved in the Aerospace sector.
The visit to HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum and a session with the learned HAL officials
gave the students an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge about Aerospace and Aviation
industry. It was an informative session and the students got a practical exposure of the Aviation
industry, which can help them in their internship and further career enhancement to prepare for the
corporate world of Airport and Airlines Industry.
