Infinity Guest Lecture Series- Art of writing a research paper- Department of Commerce, Post graduate Centre- January 6, 2021.

Akraya, the Association of the Department of Commerce, Postgraduate Centre, in association with the Research and IP Cell organised a guest lecture on “Art of writing a research paper” on January 6, 2021. Dr. James Thomas, Head of the Department of Commerce, IFIM College, Bangalore was the resource person of the event. Keeping the current pandemic in mind, the lecture was hosted online through Zoom. 56 students and faculties of the various Postgraduate departments participated in the session. The speaker discussed at length about the steps to structure a research paper, write a research paper and select a reputed journal. The importance of publishing in reputed journals was highlighted by the resource person. The session helped both students and faculties on the nuances of writing a research paper, importance and relevance of research in academics and publications.
