Activity on Presentations on Exempted Income: May 18 2021- Dept of BBA

A Classroom Activity of PPT Presentation was conducted for the VI Semester Students of the Department of BBA. It was guided by Assistant Prof. Ramandeep on 18th May, 2021. The topic for presentation was “Exempted Income for Individuals” and the Online Platform G-Suite was used the purpose.

The topic was given from syllabus of Income tax to enhance self-learning among students. It is well known and studies also show that the impact of pictures is more effective than text. It’s easy for students to keep information in their minds if they learn things by using visual tools. It increases the memory capacity of the mind. It also helps students remember information for a long time. A PowerPoint presentation can enhance the intellect of students. This acts as a means to develop public speaking skills in a student. As we all know, speaking in front of a crowd requires great courage and a certain level of confidence. If you are not confident it will be very difficult to put forth your points and opinions. Overtime when students give presentation it increases their confidence level. It also helps them give their opinion among a group of people. There was question/answer round at the end of activity. All the final year BBA students took part in the presentation. Such activities help the lectures to understand how much the students learn through their teachings especially through online mode.
