Infinity Guest Lecture Series- Role of differential equations in Innovative research - Department of Science, Maths πrates- January 9, 2021.

Maths πrates, Association of the Department of Science organized an online guest lecture on “Role of differential equations in innovative research” on January 9, 2021 as a part of the Infinity Guest lecture series. The session was conducted online using Google meet as the platform. 75 students from I & III Semester BSc (PCM & MEC) participated in the session. Prof. Naveen Kumar, Head, Department of Mathematics, RJS College, Koramangala, Bangalore was the resource person for the lecture. He explained the base to high-end applications of differential equations in a way that can be imbibed by Undergraduate students. The session was very interactive with discussions on calculus in electronics, physics and chemistry and concept of mathematics of sensors.

The session helped the students understand the evolution of differential equations and their applications in detail.
