On the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, 35 cadets from the actively participated in a community outreach program to promote environmental awareness. The program took place in the localities of Kammasandra and Hebbagodi. Our cadets spearheaded an awareness rally through the streets of Kammasandra and Hebbagodi. The rally aimed to educate and inspire residents about the importance of environmental protection. Following the rally, our college cadets actively participated in a tree plantation drive. The saplings were planted at designated locations within the communities. This initiative contributes to increasing green cover and promoting ecological balance. Our cadets reached out the residents of Kammasandra and Hebbagodi, distributing the saplings. They encouraged residents to plant the saplings in their homes or common areas, fostering a sense of personal responsibility towards the environment. Our cadets displayed commendable dedication and enthusiasm throughout the program. Their efforts served not only to raise environmental awareness but also to inspire a sense of community and collective action. This initiative exemplifies the NCC's commitment to promoting social responsibility and environmental well-being.
The Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) program is a significant initiative by the Government of India aimed at promoting national integration and unity among diverse cultures across the country. An EBSB camp is an essential component of this program, organized to foster mutual understanding and bonding among the youth of different states.
We would like to thank our Commanding Officer Col. MR Suresh, Adam Officer Lt. Col. Ravindra Singh, Principal Rev Fr Binu, Vice Principal Rev Fr Jijo Jose and our ANO Captain Sampath Kumar R for providing us this wonderful opportunity.
