On 15th July 2024, a total of fifteen Cadets from SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC took part in world youth skill day
Cadets from our college actively participated in the World Youth Skill Day celebrations, underscoring the importance of skill development and awareness among young individuals. To mark this significant occasion, we organized a series of competitions, including a poster-making competition and a debate competition, both centered around the impactful topic of "Social Media: Beneficial or Harmful
The day was filled with enthusiastic participation from the cadets, who showcased their creativity and critical thinking skills through the organized activities. Poster-Making Competition Cadets were invited to create posters that visually represented their perspectives on the benefits or harms of social media. The competition highlighted the artistic talents of the cadets and their ability to convey powerful messages through visual art. The debate saw cadets engaging in a lively discussion on whether social media is beneficial or harmful.
Participants presented well-researched arguments, displaying their oratory skills and depth of understanding on the subject. The top three posters were selected based on creativity, message clarity, and overall impact. Winners received certificates and prizes for their outstanding work. The best debaters, judged on the basis of content, delivery, and rebuttal skills, were also awarded prizes and certificates. The activities conducted on World Youth Skill Day were a great success, providing a platform for cadets to hone their skills and express their viewpoints on a pertinent issue. The event not only highlighted the importance of skill development but also encouraged cadets to critically analyze the role of social media in modern society. The celebration of World Youth Skill Day at our college was a meaningful and enriching experience for all involved, reinforcing the values of creativity, critical thinking, and constructive dialogue among the cadets.,
We would like to thank our CO Col M R Suresh, AO Lt. Col Ravindra Singh, SM Rohit, Principal Rev Fr Binu, and our ANO Capt. Sampath Kumar R for providing their constant guidance and support
