On 15th July 2024, a total of twenty-three Cadets from SFS degree college belonging to 1/1 COY ARMY WING of 1 KAR BN NCC took part in statue cleaning activity

The cadets from our college participated in a statue cleaning activity at Hosa Road. The cadets took the initiative to clean the statue of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, one of India's most revered engineers and statesmen. The activity was well-organized, with cadets demonstrating their commitment to community service and cleanliness. Armed with cleaning supplies and protective gear, the cadets efficiently carried out the task, ensuring the statue was restored to its pristine condition.

The primary aim of this activity was to honor the legacy of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and to promote the importance of maintaining public monuments. This initiative also aimed to instill a sense of civic responsibility and respect for national icons among the cadets, The cadets showcased their dedication to community service, working diligently to clean and polish the statue.

The activity fostered a spirit of teamwork and cooperation among the cadets, as they worked together to achieve a common goal. The presence of the cadets cleaning the statue also served as a visual reminder to the public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and honoring national heroes. The statue cleaning activity at Hosa Road was a successful event, reflecting the cadet’s commitment to community service and national pride. By cleaning the statue of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, the cadets not only paid tribute to a great visionary but also set an example for the community. This activity reinforced the values of respect, responsibility, and civic duty, which are integral to the ethos of the NCC.
