The theme for this year annual day was SANGAMA which in Sanskrit means coming together It symbolizes essence of togetherness and excellence.
Col. M R Suresh, CO, 1 KAR BN NCC was the Chief Guest and Guest of honour Chinnaswamy Reddy Sir State Commissioner Adult Resources, Narendra Kumar, District Secretary, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Company Hawaldar Major Thilak Raj, Hawaldar Vijay Kumar, Mr Venkatesh and Ms Anuradha Matryed Capt. M V Pranjal 's parents and various media personnel, other dignitaries were also part of the program.
The guests were welcomed by Guard Mounting and were escorted by the pilots leading to the commencement of 13th NCC ANNUAL DAY. The main attraction of this event was the flag area which manifested the theme SANGAMA
As every year, we released our annual newsletter named Chethana on this auspicious occasion. Likewise, we also released the annual report of Rovers and Rangers " Vaibhava"
This year on the auspicious occasion, NCC and SFS Management introduced the NCC Social Welfare Award, “Spoorthi Ratna”. This special award was presented to Mr A N Narendra Kumar R, District secretary of The Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The cadets actively participated in this event with a great spirit of enthusiasm. The event turned out to be a colourful one and delight to the eyes. All the events were well organized. The folk dance, ex-cadets dance and patriotic dance were the main highlights of this cultural extravaganza. The main motto of annual day was to reminisce all the activities conducted throughout the year and it turned out to be a grand success.
We would like to thank our Commanding Officer Col. M R Suresh, Subedar Major Rohith, Principal Rev. Dr. Binu, Vice Principal Rev Fr Jijo Jose and our Associate NCC Officer Capt. Sampath Kumar R for providing us this wonderful opportunity to showcase our talents and triumphs.
