Quills Quake

Quills Quake is the Desalite Radio of St Francis de Sales College which is managed and run by the Desalites. It is the veins of the college that fills Desalites with vibrancy. Quills (Desalites) Quake (the dancing rhythm) Desalites of calibre are selected and trained as Radio-Jockeys. Under the guidance of principal and staff in charge the programmes such as interviews, classes, new concept discussions, and songs are played to enhance the knowledge of students as well as to entertain the campus with music and harmony. Desalite-Radio was first begun as ‘RADIO FLAIR’ in 2007 by Fr. Sudeep Paul and he then Desalites. This was revived and made a daily feature on 03rd July 2016. The Radio has been christened by Mrs. Hamsa Catherine in the contest conducted for the same. The small radio station was blessed and inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Tony Eranyakulathil, MSFS along with Desalite associates on the feast of St. Thomas, the Apostle @ 10.00 a.m. We wish this medium becomes a means of spreading the message of God through discussions, interviews and rhythms that will entertain enhance the knowledge of Desalites and form them to be real Humans. The Radio is active Morning at 7.30-8.00 a.m. and 9.50- 10.20 a.m. during the brunch break.
