Prathibha 2016 – 17

Our institution celebrates an annual intra college fest “Prathibha” which provides opportunities for the Desalites to showcase their talents. It was inaugurated on 14 th July 2016 by Sir K Vishvanath , the Circle Inspector, Hebbagodi Police Station.

Prathibha – 16, the three day cultural fest consisted of four groups ASTROS, BIOGENS, MARIENS, and TERRISTEIANS . The cultural events packed with excitement of various events such as Personality contest, Choreography, Group song, Abhinaya, Street play, Fashion show, Mime, Light vocal (Indian & Western), Creative dressing, Extempore, Collage, Face painting, Mehandi, Pot painting, Fireless Cooking, Hair styling, and Flower arrangement. These cultural events always hold a special appeal to the students by inspiring them to show their creativity, talents, dedication and acceptance among the peer groups. Active participation was being observed by the Animators of different groups and every student strived hard to win in various events in order to contribute the score to their respective groups.

The respective judges Mr. Martin and group popularly known as ‘Hip-pop Kannadigaru’ were the guests as well as judges for the events, held on the second day. Hip-pop Kannadigaru set the stage on fire by the awesome performance which brought great excitement and enthusiasm to the participants.

During the valedictory ceremony the prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners for their commendable performance during the three days of the cultural activities. Principal Fr. Dr. Herold Christopher lauded the participants and the winners for their achievements. The organisers were also thanked and appreciated for their commendable job. Hail Desalite.
