KARNATAKA CIVIL DEFENCE (KCD) Annual Day – February 06, 2020

The 7th Karnataka Civil Defence (KCD) Annual Day was held on 6th February 2020 in the College Auditorium. St Francis de Sales College is part of Division 50 of the KCD.

The Chief Guest of the Day was Dr. PPS Chetan (Additional Chief Officer Commanding, Head Qtrs. Operation, and Karnataka) and Amrik Singh Seghal (Officer Commanding (Training). They motivated the students with their speeches along with sharing their personal experiences – including a rescue operation during the floods in Karnataka.

Lt. Sampath Kumar, the Division Warden gave a brief on the activities conducted throughout the Year, accompanied by a video presentation. The outstanding wardens of the KCD were felicitated on the occasion, in the presence of Rev. Dr. Roy, the Principal.

Nearly 150 wardens took part in the Annual Day, enthusiastically with a number of cultural programs and presentations.
