Session on the awareness about / Prevention of Sexual Harassment - May 9, 2019

On 9th May 2019, nearly 75 academic and non-academic staff participated in the session on the awareness about/ prevention of sexual harassment conducted by Ms. Sharmila, Advocate, Arista Chambers, Bengaluru, between 1.00 and 2.00 p.m. in the conference hall.

Supporting her talk with with many legal cases, she spoke about the various aspects of sexual harassment in detail. To enable the non-academic staff to better understand the issues discussed in the session, Prof. Veena translated the resource person’s address in Kannada. The academic and non-academic staff found the session enriching.
