Fresher’s Party Report - Rangi ye maisha(colours of life)

“Fresher Party” in any college is an event which every student eagerly awaits from the time of their admissions. The 28th of August 2018 was marked as a memorable day in the life of every fresher of 2018-20 batch at St.Francis de Sales College. The Fresher’s day was a day that was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The dress code for the Fresher’s day was ‘Dress your Best’

The celebration started sharp at 12.00 noon by our enthusiastic master of the ceremony Ms.Divya from BCA and Ms.Roshini from B.Sc at the College Auditorium with the opening prayer by Mr.John & team from BCA followed by the welcome address by Ms.Rubika B.Sc, the Freshers were formally welcomed into the Desalite family, the chief guest and the other guest of the day were our teachers.

The program kick-started with a cinematic dances from BCA and B.Sc continued with the enlightening games followed with ramp walk by all Freshers. Every participant was dressed dashing and were leaving fire on the ramp.

Then fifteen students were shortlisted for Mr. and Ms. Fresher title out of 105. Participants had to perform the task given by their seniors for one minute. After stiff competition finally 6 candidates were shortlisted for second round.. They were asked questions by judges and task was given to perform. Everyone perform their task well but finally Mr. Ebenezer from BCA as Mr. Fresher and Ms.Laya from B.Sc as Miss Fresher won the title. Ms.Laya winner of Ms. Fresher stated that “It has been a dream come true for me and will try my level best to perform the tasks as per others expectations”

While talking to Mr. Naveen one of the shortlisted candidates he expressed that “It was wonderful to be shortlisted in top fifteen and I thank to seniors for organizing such an exciting event”. The honour of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher was rewarded by Dr. Smrity and Prof.Smrutee. Program In-charge Ms.Hermain and Ms.Sherine, the Cyber Spirit Association heads advised the first year students to maintain the same legacy and Department Spirit as was maintained by their seniors. The event winded up vote of thanks by Mr. Anush from BCA and delicious refreshments.
