Food Distribution for COVID-19 lockdown affected people: NCC – May 01, 2020.

On May 01, 2020, a food distribution activity was conducted by the NCC cadets along with Lt Sampath Kumar, the ANO. This activity was organised in the presence of Rev. Dr. Roy, the Principal. This act of charity reached out to many people who are jobless and facing immense difficulty due to the lockdown effect of COVID-19. The places covered included the areas of Kammasandra and Sampigenagar. The people were extremely happy and grateful for this gesture.

This venture is part of the daily distribution of freshly cooked meals (from the College Canteen) and fresh milk (from the dairy farm) to the poor and needy in the neighbourhood, initiated by St Francis de Sales College, throughout the period of the Covid-19 lockdown, under the supervision and organisation of Rev Fr Tony, the Administrator.
