What is the minimum qualification for admission to a Graduate Program?
The applicant can fill in the Online Application Form online and pay the application fee online.
High School and Higher Secondary (Class X, XI, XII) mark statements in original from a recognized State Board or University in India or abroad with a minimum 50% percentage of marks for General Merit candidates and 45 % in case of SC/STs. Private /Correspondence/

Open School candidates are not eligible for admission unless permitted by the University of Bangalore.
Transfer Certificate (At the time of admission).
Migration Certificate for non-Karnataka students ( At the time of admission).

When can I apply?
The College admits candidates in May/June. However, applications are invited usually from March onwards.

What are the course fees?

What are the steps in the selection process?
Only those applications, which have been completed accurately and in full, and that, include the relevant certificates and other documents, as attachments will be considered. Candidates will be shortlisted, and those candidates who have been selected are required to appear for a personal interview (held in the College premises). The exact date, time and venue of the personal interview will be communicated to each shortlisted candidate. The final results will be announced once the marks obtained by the candidates in their board examination and personal interview have been consolidated.

Is the personal interview mandatory?
Yes, it is. In order to qualify, it is mandatory to appear for the personal interview conducted by the Admission Committee of the College.

What are the terms and conditions ofthe submission of documents?
The following conditions apply.
At the time of admission, candidates must submit all the original documents, copies and other relevant documentation as well as a hardcopy of the completed application form. Students should ensure that they keep a photocopy of the documents for themselves before submitting the same to the admissions department.
The original documents submitted will be returned to the student only at the end of the program.
In order to take back these documents at the end of the program, a student must produce the documents acknowledgement receipt he received during the time of admission

What documents are required for admission?
SFS College mandates that all candidates submit the following documents at the time of admission. Note that a different set of documents is required for International students and Non-Resident Indians. All originals along with 3 sets of photocopies of the same are required.

What are the terms and conditions concerning admission at SFS College?
The following conditions apply.
Applications must be made only in the prescribed format. Applicants are requested to read the entire application form carefully before filling it out. The application is a key part of the admission process, and incomplete or false information will adversely affect admission to the programme.

Do you have a Hostel facility on the campus?
Yes. Separate hostels for men on campus and women just outside the campus are available with all necessary facilities promoting a homely atmosphere.

After one completes the online application form for admission, what are the next steps?
Eligible candidates will be invited for a personal interview conducted by the Admission Committee.
After the personal interview, candidates are shortlisted based on their overall performance in the board examinations, and personal interview. The final results will be communicated to the candidates who have qualified, and they will then be eligible to take provisional admission in the concerned departments/subjects. The number of candidates selected depends on the number of existing vacancies under different subjects and departments.
Note that SFS College reserves the right of admission and allotment of program. Once a candidate has been admitted to a particular course, any request for refund of fees will not be entertained.
