Report on Cleaning Statues-Important Public Personalities

On 20 & 21st September, 2018 under the guidance of ANO Lt.Sampath Kumar R we the NCC cadets of St Francis De Sales college became the volunteers for cleaning the statues of important public personalities of nearby town Chandapura, Bommasandra & Hebbagodi.

As the citizen of India, it is our primary responsibilities and duty to clean our society in which we reside as a part of this we visited statues of public personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr B R Ambedkar and Swamy Vivekananda and cleaned.

As a NCC cadet of this country, it is our responsibility to motivate the public to come forth to protect the statues and the surrounding in the remembrance of such great personalities. We have the privilege of creating awareness among public by doing such activities. Statues have been produced in many culture beginning from pre-history to the present, some statues gain fame independent of the person or concept they represent as with the statue of liberty. As a responsible citizen of India, it’s our responsibilities & privilege to protect and keep clean public personalities statues.

We would like to Thank Our Commanding Officer of 1 KAR BN NCC, Our Principal, Vice Principal and Our ANO Lt Sampath Kumar R for providing us an great opportunity to be a part of world’s largest cleanliness drive “ Swachhata Hi Seva”.
